Jane Jones recently contacted BBC Oxford because her daughter Jane and six year-old grandson Noah are being made homeless this Christmas, as their landlord has decided he wants the property back for renovations.
BBC Radio Oxford ran a plea this morning for companies to help the family. Meanwhile, the local council are trying to find somewhere suitable for them so that they have a roof over their head this Christmas.
Mother Jo has effectively had to cancel Christmas to try and cope with the situation and as such, Noah has no presents to open next Sunday morning, which is where the toy industry can help.
Any companies which have toys they could spare for the child should contact Catherine Warrilow, director at Publicity Oxford, who is coordinating the support on 07976 294754 or email - firstname.lastname@example.org
