Hasbro shifts stock to NASDAQ

Hasbro has shifted its stock from the NY Stock Exchange to the NASDAQ Global Select Market.

The stock will still be listed under the 'HAS' ticker symbol.

In a statement, Hasbro chief financial officer Deb Thomas said the change is part of the company's plans for "re-imagining" the business to maximise shareholder value.

She said: "The decision to transfer our stock listing reflects our strategy of re-imagining our business to maximise value for our shareholders.

"The NASDAQ and its listed companies are indicative of the innovation and forward-thinking Hasbro prides itself on. We are confident that the technology platforms, services and support of NASDAQ will best support Hasbro’s continued growth as a branded play company."



New COO for Hasbro

Hasbro has appointed David Hargreaves as chief operating officer to replace Brian Goldner, who has stepped up CEO.
