The settlement details have not been disclosed, but a statement from Hasbro said that Atari will continue to develop, market and maintain games based on the Dungeons & Dragons property, but will do so under licence from Hasbro and subsidiary, Wizards of the Coast.

The suit was first filed in December 2009, when Wizards of the Coast alleged that Atari sub-licensed its Dungeons & Dragons digital game rights to Namco Bandai, which Hasbro sees as a competitor. Hasbro sued Atari for fraud and five different breach of contract counts.
