The third Iron Man movie hits cinemas on April 26th, and Hasbro is galvanised for the premiere with a full range of toys.

There will be 16 different Iron Man 3 product lines, including the interchangeable ‘Assemblers’ line of toys inspired by the suit Robert Downey Jr wears in the Iron Man 3 film. Kids can create over 25 armour combinations for each of the 16 available figures.

The Assemblers line will be joined by a range of action figures, from 3.75-inch figures to feature-packed electronic action figures and a giant 16-inch Iron Man.

Roleplay toys including gauntlets and a dress-up mask join the mix too.

All are available from March onwards, and will join the wider range of Avengers and Spider-Man toys already on the market.

Iron Man 3 promises to be a big hit, coming hot on the heels of last year's Avengers movie, which netted $1.5bn at the global box office.

“Iron Man is one of the most popular Avengers characters across a broad audience demographic. He’s reliable, aspirational and inspirational – and has 42 cool suits! This range of imaginative and interactive toys from Hasbro perfectly captures the play pattern that boys want to emulate” said Simon Philips, GM of Consumer Products at The Walt Disney Company, EMEA.
