Hasbro launches pink Monopoly

Hasbro launches the exclusive, very pink edition of Monopoly in Toys R Us.

Monopoly has received a complete makeover from Hasbro for its exclusive launch in Toys R Us.

The Monopoly Boutique Edition has replaced the traditional colours of red and green with pink and purple. Real estate has been replaced with fashion boutiques, shopping malls and hair salons while the game counters have changed to a flip flop, sandal, pair of sunglasses, hairdryer and handbag.

The new edition is packaged in a pink keepsake box. The deed cards are pink, as are the US dollars and the dice.

When it’s a player’s turn they can go on a shopping spree, pay their mobile phone bill and receive text messages. 

The game is on sale at Toys R Us for £24.99.
