GP Flair has become the latest supplier to give the Toy & Game Inventors Workshop its full backing.

The firm joins Hasbro, Asobi and Cartamundi as an event sponsor, while Fundamentally Children is also on board as an associate sponsor.

Flair - an integral part of the Giochi Preziosi Group - said that being able to have access to and mentor some of the up and coming future inventors for the industry was an opportunity not to be missed.

Andrew McKay, development director, commented: "We are pleased to be involved with the workshops and be given the chance to meet with new inventors that would not normally cross our paths.

"This will allow us not only to impart some of the knowledge of the industry we have to this new talent, but it may also be the case that we come across that hidden gem that could go on to be the next big thing in the world of children's playthings.

"As part of the process, several team members from Giochi Preziosi's head office will be attending the show so that we can all gain from the experience."

The Toy & Game Inventors Workshop is a one-day conference and business networking event for inventors of toys and games.

Taking place at Rich Mix, Bethnal Green Road, London on Monday, September 22nd, the event will see over 150 toy inventors gathered to hear valuable advice on manufacturing, safety, legal, retail and marketing issues before being given the chance to pitch their ideas to a number of toy companies, including Hasbro, Asobi, Cartamundi and GP Flair.
