The extended mascot range will features Wenlock and Mandeville sporting a new Union Jack look. The range includes plush toys in various sizes, plastic figurines, pens and charms.

Chairman John Hales commented: "Our many factories are now at full capacity from now until the games and we urge retailers to get their orders in as quickly as possible and they will be sold on a first come first served basis.

"I have spoken to both suppliers and retailers at previous Olympic Games from Sydney, through to Athens and Beijing and even to the Winter games in Vancouver and the common theme and consensus is that the mascot ranges have all sold out at retail long before the start of the Games as consumers rush to own a souvenir or memento from their olympics."

Further additions to the core mascot range will be unveiled throughout 2011 /2012. Winning Wenlock will be available at retail from October 2011 and will be supported by a TV advertising campaign airing 2011 / 2012. The Team GB range will also be launching in September 2011.
