GP Flair CEO Peter Brown and his team have received a special award for their contribution to the Giochi Preziosi group.

After acquiring the UK toy manufacturer in 2008 the group has enjoyed a boost in performance and growth, culminating in a 20 per cent sales increase over 2010.

Since 2008, Flair has seen its turnover nearly double and is now considered the UK’s 7th top toy manufacturer, jumping ten places in February’s NPD chart.

The award was presented to Peter Brown and commercial director, Simon Hedge by the group’s koint CEO’s Dario Berte and Oddone Pozzi during a recent visit to the GP headquarters in Milan.

A delighted Peter Brown said: “We are especially pleased to be able to help contribute to the Giochi Preziosi record growth in Europe where group sales grew by over 20 per cent in 2010."

GP chief Oddone Pozzi added: “For the Giochi Preziosi Group the UK market is very important and we see the potential for excellent future growth."
