Fundamentally Children, the new home of The Good Toy Guide is the latest firm to support the inaugural Toy & Game Inventors Workshop, being organised by ToyNews for this September.

The company comes on board as an associate sponsor, joining confirmed event sponsors Hasbro, Asobi and Cartamundi - with further announcements to come.

"This is a much needed event as trying to break into the toy industry is notoriously difficult," said Dr Amanda Gummer from Fundamentally Children. "We’re delighted to be sponsoring the Toy & Game Inventors Workshop as we are committed to helping start-ups in the toy industry avoid the pitfalls that are so common and costly.

"We look forward to seeing all the exciting new ideas that are the lifeblood of the industry."

The Toy & Game Inventors Workshop is a one-day conference and business networking event for inventors of toys and games.

Taking place at Rich Mix, Bethnal Green Road, London on Monday, September 22nd, the event will see over 150 toy inventors gathered to hear valuable advice on manufacturing, safety, legal, retail and marketing issues before being given the chance to pitch their ideas to a number of toy companies, including Hasbro, Asobi and Cartamundi.
