Posh Paws has seen sales of its Frozen plush line exceed all expectations.

The Disney film is the highest grossing animation film of all time and Posh Paws has seen enthusiasm for the property translate into sales.

“Our Frozen plush product has literally flown off the shelves,” Lauren Hayward, group brand manager at Posh Paws International, told ToyNews.

“So much so that we’ve not even been able to keep enough stock in. As soon as stock arrives into our warehouse – it goes straight out to our customers. It has far exceeded all expectations.”

The firm puts the success of the range down to the popularity of the film’s main characters and the mass appeal of the film.

“The success of the product and the film itself is down to two wonderfully funny characters Olaf the Snowman and Sven the Reindeer alongside two beautiful, friendly and fearless princesses,” continued Hayward.

“The stunning animation and story crosses both gender and age, making it a real family film just like Toy Story.”

Disney is supporting Frozen throughout 2014, building up to Christmas and Posh Paws is also looking to ensure continued success for its line by backing the plush throughout the next 12 months.

“We’ve got support from all our major accounts across all our Frozen plush lines, so definitely expect to see continued success from the product in 2014 and into 2015 with the support of Disney,” added Hayward.
