Flair teams with Eureka! for Plasticine Jurassic Experience

Flair is teaming up with Eureka, the National Children’s Museum in Halifax to create an interactive Plasticine Jurassic Experience.

The three day activity will run over the May Bank Holiday weekend and will aim to engage thousands of visitors with a Plasticine modeling area.

Children and parents will also be able to contribute to the making of a pack of T-Rex to create a sculpture similar to London’s elephant sculptures.

As part of the weekend, outdoor event company The Jurassic Experience will also be present with a life size dinosaur.

Children will then be given their own Plasticine Dinosaur Squidgem, one of the new items in this year’s Plasticine collection.

Flair’s creative play marketing manager, Kirsty MacKenzie, said: “The Jurassic Plasticine Experience at Eureka! is the perfect venue for us to reach thousands of children in a fun event.

“The event is designed to inspire young children to communicate the superior modeling properties of Plasticine.

“We feel that partnering with Eureka! for this experience will benefit not only brand awareness but will reassert Plasticine’s core success as an ultimate modeling compound for kids.”

Jenny Parker, play and learning co-ordinator at Eureka, added: “By partnering with flair and Plasticine, we have been able to create an incredible event for our bank holiday visitors.

“I remember Plasticine from when I was a kid, and it’s great to see that it inspires as much creativity in children now as it did then, despite the obvious distractions that the modern era can provide.”
