Brand owner, MEG, has confirmed that GP Flair will be the new UK and Ireland distributor of the In My Pocket brand.

The detailed handover and agreement will take place as soon as possible.

The news comes after the previous distributor, Corinthian Marketing, went into administration last week.

Joe Morrison, CEO of MEG commented: “We are delighted to be working with Flair, a company with a proven track record in this sector.

“Corinthian Marketing did a great job for us and put the brand on the map in the region and we feel that Flair is now the right partner to help us to build on that success.”

Peter Brown, CEO of GP Flair, added: “The In My Pocket brand is perfect for the Flair portfolio and will complement well our other brands.

“We are excited about the prospect of working with this incredibly popular property especially with the July 2011 launch of the new TV series, Adventures in Pocketville and all the new product innovation that is in the pipeline.”

Further details of the handover will be available in due course.

Corinthian's remaining brands and product lines principally consisting of MicroStars, ProStars, Snuggle Pets, Slingers and Color Me Mine are available for sale.
