The success of Disney’s 3D animated adventure, Bolt, the story about a dog who believes he has superpowers, has signalled a surge in sales for Flair’s Bolt licensed toys and play-sets, says the firm.

With the release of the film came the launch of a collection of toys by Flair including feature plush and motorised Rhino the Hamster in a Ball and so far, sales have far exceeded targets.

The film has occupied the UK’s number one position for three weeks, grossing over £14 million in UK box office sales in the first two weeks.

Nicola Bergot, sales director of Flair commented: “Flair has had a great reaction to the range. The sales are way beyond expectations, so much so that extra stock is being sought urgently but even that may not be able to satisfy the demand.”
