The Proflix flipbook campaign for both GX Racers and Gormiti will run in key DC Thomson titles Beano Max and Dandy Xtreme.

The Proflix flipbook is a new cult collectable that is to have its own retail launch this autumn with the football club inspired Autograph Edition.

DC Thomson has invested heavily in the concept with a series of Beano editions in September and is furthering the collectable craze by partnering with Flair and circulating GX Racer and Gormiti Proflix Flip Books in the following weeks.

GX Racers is the first to get the Proflix treatment and is to benefit from another exclusive, the first ever 3D edition which will literally see the new track car brand launched in animated action from the Proflix pages.

Nearly 100,000 of the GX Racers 3D Proflix will be inserted in a special 3D edition of Beano Max in mid September that comes complete with 3D Glasses for the reader.

Claire Powley, product manager for GX Racers commented: "We are incredibly excited about this promotional campaign, Proflix is the ideal way to demonstrate the brand to the target age group, the video action will show the fast action nature of the brand perfectly and there are 20 pages of product information on the rear. This coupled with being the first 3D Proflix in the market is a real coup."

The new Gormiti Animated series will also be captured in a Proflix Flipbook and circulated with Dandy Xtreme in early October - perfect timing for the launch of the new TV series. Once again a video clip will be shown on one side whilst the rear of each of the 20 pages will show product information.

Flair’s Proflix campaigns are just part of major marketing programmes for GX Racers and Gormiti which include Heavyweight TV, consumer competitions and Pre Christmas PR
