Fisher-Price is celebrating ten years of Jumperoo with a new product launch at this year’s The Baby Show.

The new First Steps Jumperoo will be showcased on the opening day of the Birmingham show, where representatives will be hosting demonstrations to expectant and new mothers.

An update of the 2004 free-standing jumper, the modern design allows babies to jump, spin, discover and play as well as take their first steps.

Dom Gubitosi, veteran Fisher-Price baby gear designer, said: “We know that parents love watching their baby take their first steps and we developed this new design to help babies reach this memorable milestone.

“The product originated with an A frame, hen evolved in to the three spring design and over the years, we have modified this to become more aesthetically pleasing with the curved tubes, which ultimately led to the creation of the First Steps Jumperoo.”

The Jumperoo features a 360 degree spinning seat along with a range of toys including a lion mirror, frog roller ball, butterfly bead bar, crocodile roller and more.

The product is designed to help with babies’ first steps ‘as the sturdt free-standing steel frame provides support for baby to walk safely.’

Retailing at £124.99, the Jumperoo is suitable from when a baby can hold their head independently, until 11.3kg.
