Character Options is gearing up for ‘an exciting summer’ for the ChillFactor brand, with new launches planned and top ratings in the national press.

Excitement has been spurred when ChillFactor was recently voted as the best Ice-Cream Maker for summer 2015 by the national press.

Inspired by the inclement weather as Britain prepares for temperatures ‘hotter than Spain,’ this week, the Daily Mail awarded the product its top spot in a feature on the coolest ice-cream accessories for this summer.

Character Options’ ChillFactor scored five out of five, trumping its competitors, such as Heston Blumenthal’s Sage Smart Scoop priced at £349.99.

Comparatively priced at the low cost of £12.99, the ChillFactor Ice-Cream Maker was named Best for Children and only one of all featured gadgets to receive a perfect score.

Character Options is now looking to keep momentum going for the upcoming summer with the launch of its new ChillFactor Drinks Bottle and the ongoing success of its ChillFactor Slushy Maker.

“We are delighted to hear that the Daily Mail views the Chillfactor Ice Cream Maker as the best rated machine, it is on of our top selling lines and has always been a firm favourite with kids,” said Kathryn Ludlam, brand manager at Character Options.

“The ChillFactor Slushy maker also remains a best seller plus we are about to launch the brand new ChillFactor drinks Bottle. Overall, with summer approaching, it’s an exciting tie for the brand.”
