She will be responsible for brands including Harumika and Tamagotchi as well as new launches PopPixie and Chloe’s Closet.
She spent four years as at Corinthian as marketing manager for In My Pocket. She previously held marketing positions at Maverick Entertainment and HIT, looking after pre-school brands Muffin the Mule and Thomas & Friends.
Elmer said: "This is a fantastic opportunity for me to progress my career in the trade I love and I am really looking forward to playing an important part in building on the success of Bandai’s strong girls’ portfolio. I’ve been made to feel very welcome back in Southampton and cannot wait to get started on the new ranges for 2011."
