Lego launches blog site for parents to share their experiences, photos and tips about the evergreen toy.
Publish date:

2009 marks 40 years since the Lego Duplo brick was launched in the UK. To mark the anniversary, the firm has set up a blog at http://legoduplo.dbmblogs.co.uk where consumers can share their experiences of Duplo with everyone.

It also gives parents the chance to send pictures of toddlers in to be put up on the blog and offers helpful ‘did you know’ hints and tips about the toy.

Duplo bricks are designed to provide children with entertainment through building and role-playing – each time they can be made into a new building, providing a new play experience. This type of play aids child development and improves hand-eye coordination and motor skills, colour recognition, creativity and self esteem.
