For anyone scratching their heads over just how Batman is meant to square up to the powers of Superman in the upcoming Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Mattel might have just offered an answer.

It may take the form of a (perhaps obvious) spoiler, despite the film not being out until 2016, so approach with caution.

Having recently confirmed its partnership with DC Comics and Warner Bros to produce a line of toys based on the cinematic and TV universe, Mattel has offered a first look at its Kryptonite clad Batman action figure, as speculated by Kdramastars.com.

Having extended its fifteen year license for another “three to five years,” Mattel’s range will feature toys based on the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice movie.

The new figure from Mattel suggests that Ben Affleck’s character might employ the old Kryptonite tactic in order to beat his opponent.
