Disney to rent its films on YouTube

Launch titles will include Alice in Wonderland, Pirates of the Caribbean and Cars 2.

Disney is set to offer its films for rent on YouTube.com/movies.

The launch line-up includes Alice in Wonderland, this year's refreshed Winnie the Pooh, Cars, Cars 2 and Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides will be the first films available. 

Classic animations like Snow White and others will be added soon after according to the Guardian.

Speaking on the official YouTube blog, Minjae Ormes, the site's movies and TV marketing manager, said: "Oore of the great Disney classics and new releases will be added in weeks to come."
