Disney Pixar reveals two new movies

Firm previews new line-up at the annual D23 expo.

The new movies unveiled at Disney's own film convention, are as yet unnamed.

The first focuses on the asteroid which scientists think hit the earth to wipe out dinosaurs. In the film, however, the asteroid misses and the dinosaurs survive.

The synopses says: 'What if that life-changing asteroid missed Earth? The hilarious tale depicts a world where dinosaurs never went extinct.' The dinosaur film is slated for release at the end of 2013.

The second film explores the inside of the human mind. Directed by the man behind Up and Mosters Inc, Pete Docter, it will explore the inner workings of our brains and how we come up with ideas. The film is due for release in May 2014.

Pixar's next film, Brave, is due for UK release on October 17th 2012.
