Disney names Giochi 'Licensee of the Year for Toys'

The Giochi Preziosi Group has been named disney's Licensee of the Year for Toys and Stationery.

The accolade was awarded at a presentation during the 2014 Nuremberg Toy Fair on Wednesday, January 29th.

Giochi Preziosi - who has worked alongside Disney for a number of years - was given the title for its range of products produced under various Disney licenses, including Doc McStuffins, Sofia the First and Violetta.

Dario Berte, Giochi Preziosi's CEO, said: "We would like to thank disney Consumer Products for recognising our pan European product development, marketing and sales team as one of its major merchandising partners.

"We are very pleased to be acknowledged in this way. This recognition is testament to the commitment that both GP and Disney have made to the creation of sustainable, innovative product ranges inspired by compelling entertainment content."
