Disney goes after Seal Team Six trademark

"Entertainment and education services" cited as potential uses for the name of the Bin Laden assassinators.

Disney has moved to register the name of the American elite forces unit who are belived to have killed Osama Bin Laden.

The application was made to the US Patent and Trademark Office on May 3rd, just two days after the killing.

The entertainment giant plans to use the trademark for “clothing, footwear, headwear, toys, games and entertainment and education services.”

The US Patent and Trademark Office website states the “application will be assigned to an examining attorney approximately three months after filing date.”
