DISNEY: Full-length movies go online

Disney is to stream free full-length film content on its web site for the first time.

The films are scheduled to stream from August and will include Finding Nemo, Monsters Inc, Freaky Friday, Peter Pan and Princess Diaries 2.

A Disney spokesman said the decision to stream movies for free marks an "evolution" in the company's online strategy. Previously, the firm has gone down the pay route and kept its films, for the most part, on iTunes.



Disney dips in Q1

Disney's president says the firm will be reducing costs after first quarter results saw group turnover and profit both fall.
