Razor is recuperating after a week of activity that saw its Crazy Cart share the stage with F1’s Damon Hill and scoop Best Ride-on at the Outdoor Playtime Awards.
The Crazy Cart’s week of success kicked off with the Damon Hill Karting Challenge, an event held to raise funds for Halow Project, a charity dedicated to nurturing independence in young adults with learning disabilities.
Amid a Le Mans style karting marathon, Alex Lynn, development driver in the Williams F1 team, provided a demonstration of the Crazy Cart while a Damon Hill signed Cart went up for grabs in a raffle.
The F1 legend also took a spin in the Crazy Cart itself, following a lap of the track in Re:creation’s Michael Lehrter’s supercar featuring Ride Razor branding.
The Crazy Cart also scooped a top award in the Best Ride-on category of the inaugural Outdoor Playtime Awards.
“The Crazy Cart always draws great interest at events and we have been delighted with the response we have received during this week’s antics,” said Katy Fletcher, Re:creation brand manager.
“The news that we had scooped an award in the Outdoor Playtime Awards was truly the icing on the cake of an exciting week. It’s only just the start of summer and what a great springboard this activity has provided as we enter this key half of the year.”
