Following on from the recent toy range from Character Options, the textiles company has secured the licence to produce bedroom products including duvet covers, curtains, fleece blankets, cushions and rugs for the three services under the HM Armed Forces brand.

Character World has already secured retail listings in outlets including Littlewoods and Grattan.

Mark Schweiger (pictured), director of Character World, said: "The idea of the Armed Forces has appealed to kids through the generations. Since the withdrawal of Action Man from the market, there remains a gap, which this brand aims to fill.

"The HM Armed Forces action figures, from Character Options, have so far proved extremely successful since their launch on VE Day this year.

"We hope to build upon this success in adding to the product line with a fantastic range of bedroom furnishings."
