Character Options has teamed with YouTube channel Toys AndME to launch its talkative Teksta Toucan via a new series called Teksta TV.

Hosted on the Toys AndME YouTube channel, which boasts almost one million followers and has achieved 750 million views in just over 12 months, Teksta TV will see YouTube star Tiana host a show with her co-presenter, the Teksta Toucan.

Features will include her favourite unboxings, plus humorous snippets of news and gossip and the new Generation Teksta Puppy will also appear the shows.

“We were delighted when Tiana and her family agreed to work with us on this very special project," said Mark Hunt, Character Options marketing manager.

"Tiana is one of the big stars of YouTube, and while we have worked with her all year with unboxing, it’s great to create a specific campaign that will capture her unique ability to engage with her audience.

“The Teksta TV videos will also be available to view on a far reaching digital campaign with SuperAwesome and news of the series will also be highlighted in a number of children’s press ads. On top of this this will be a heavyweight TV campaign, media visits, plus a personal appearance of both Teksta Toucan and Puppy at the Gadget show live at Westfield during October half term.

"One things for certain, there will be plenty to shout about for Teksta this autumn.”

Tiana added: “Wow I can’t wait to be working with Teksta Toucan. He will make a great friend to have with me for these videos. I love Teksta toys, and it’s going to be loads of fun.”

Teksta TV will debut on Toys AndME in late July.
