Character Options is boosting its Weebles portfolio with a brand new collection called Weebledown Farm.
The range will be launched at retail in mid-December backed by TV advertising, events and high profile social media activity.
Weebledown Farm will launch with a range of over ten SKUs including Weebles farm animal characters with wobble bases, mini farm vehicles, Wobbily Tractor and the hero playset, Wobbily Farm Mill & Barn.
“The Weebledown Farm launch is the next step in our commitment with Hasbro in developing the Weebles line," said Jerry Healy, Character Options’ marketing director.
"We believe this new collection will be highly appealing to the younger pre-school audience and will help return the Weebles brand as a leading name in the pre-school sector. In view of this our marketing drive will equal the significance we are placing on Weebledown Farm and the Weebles brand in general as a future cornerstone of the Character Options portfolio.
“Our launch strategy will begin a few weeks before Christmas with TV advertising and a huge social media strategy, ensuring that over 100 parental-bloggers are engaging their own audiences with Weebles. This will then continue through spring with further TV; targeting the watch-with-mother audience, experiential activities with retailers and parental press and digital media.”
Weebledown Farm will go on sale in the UK mid December 2014 while the full range, plus 2015 extensions, will be exhibited at London Toy Fair.
