Character Options’ Little Live Pets Big Tweet Twitter event helped deliver six million tweets focusing on the brand.
Last Friday saw the brand engage mums and their children with a virtual chat on Twitter.
Once the event kicked off, Little Live Pets started trending and held the number two spot for over an hour, beaten only by Children in Need.
Characters from the brand, like Cheeky Charlie the Chaffinch, individually trended and the Big Tweet saw 1,000 mums actively talking to their own followers about the brand, with over one million unique users reached.
“The Little Live Pets range have been a huge success and have amassed a huge fan-base," said Mark Hunt, marketing manager, Character Options.
"The butterflies have an incredibly life like fluttering action whilst the interactive birds just love to tweet and talk. Never before has their tweeting been heard by so many over such a short time frame however! What’s more the comments made on twitter were great and it’s clear that the mums love the brand as much as their children.
