Character Options bolsters pre-Christmas marketing for Teksta Scorpion

To celebrate the launch of the Teksta Robotics Scorpion, the ultimate Teksta Scorpion Battle will take place later this month, along with a ten day long appearance to highlight the product to consumers at the upcoming Gadget Show Live.

The Teksta Scorpion Battle was publicised in leading boy’s publications and through the site KIX. Running throughout August, kids were invited to enter a competition to star in the major televised one off Teksta Battle where they could be crowned the Teksta Scorpion Master.

In a robot wars style combat, the winners took part in a timed assault cause, with a final battle between the two fastest contestants to collect the most cores. The entire event was filmed in a Smyths Toys Superstores earlier this month and will be shown on the KIX TV website during October half term.

Further awareness will be created for Teksta Scorpion during The Gadget Show Live exhibition at Westfield Shepards Bush, taking place over ten days from 23rd October.

“The Teksta Battle perfectly captured the speed and agility of the Teksta Scorpion and showcased the brand in a really cool and engaging way,” said Character Options marketing manager, Mark Hunt.

“The activity at Gadget Show Live will further add to the high impact awareness that will be created through the KIX activity as well as our traditional TV advertising and PR and marketing.”
