Character Options is promising that its new TV commercial for Character Building Sports Stars will really bring the players to life and get across the collectability element of the range.
The firm kicked off its plans for satellite and terrestrial channels earlier this week. It says that the campaign for the new construction micro-figures and play-sets will deliver over 600 TVRs in the first weeks.
The TV schedule is one of the biggest for Character Options this year. It will also highlight the Golden Boot campaign, which sees fans hunting for elusive Golden Boot tickets hidden within the blind bags. Prizes up for grabs include club training sessions and kits.
"We have created an action packed TVC that really brings the players to life using some quality CGI, but we ensured that we get across the collectability of the range to show it appeals to not just football fans, but kids who love construction and collecting micro-figures too," said Mark Hunt, brand manager at Character Options.
"This was vital and we are very pleased with the outcome; it's been hard work but such good fun.
"The Golden Boot campaign is also an important part of the strategy, and with a dedicated website and club pages full of prizes we know this particular marketing initiative will have great appeal to anyone who enjoys the beautiful game."
