Cartamundi has lifted the lid on its new Frozen Tri-Pack, a three in one pack of card games inspired by Disney’s award-winning animated film.
The release follows ‘unprecedented demand’ for last year’s Frozen two-in-one game from the firm.
Featuring a happy families game, a Mega Memo game and a specially designed Frozen action game, the new set will arrive at toyshops this July carrying an £8.99 price tag.
Aimed at girls aged five to eight, the Tri-Pack will arrive in a triple tuckbox format, featuring artwork of the film’s leading characters, while Elsa, Anna, Olaf, Kristoff and Sven, Prince Hans and Marshmallow will all appear on the game cards.
Cartamundi expects the set to ‘enjoy a strong retail performance in the run-up to Christmas,’ owing to the success of the film and its DVD release in past years.
Continuing the Frozen celebration, Cartamundi has also produced a Frozen game for its digital Shuffle range, with a matching game encouraging kids to count crystals.
“The continuing appeal of one of the best loved and most successful animated films ever has sustained a strong and continuing demand for new product to follow the success of our two-in-one game,” said Trudi Bishop, head of marketing and licensing at Cartamundi.
“With Frozen Tri-Pack and Frozen Shuffle, we have captured the magic of the film in two wonderful new formats.”
