The British Toy and Hobby Association has revealed the official Ask the Media video for Toy Fair 2019.

The video, produced annually by the BTHA, provides information and advice on all the PR opportunities offered to exhibitors at Toy fair. It also features the now famous Q&A interviews, where the UK’s newspapers, broadcasters and blogs reveal their top tips and expectations for Toy Fair 2019.

This year, the video features interviews with Zoe Kleinman, broadcast journalist and presenter at BBC News, Kate Carter, freelance consumer journalist and Helen Neale, owner of KiddyCharts, the UK parenting blog.

Kleinman has reported on technology and business across the BBC for 10 years, while Carter was previously Life & Style Editor at The Guardian. As well as managing KiddyCharts, Neale is a digital marketer for Channel Mum.

In the series of interviews, the media reveal how and when exhibitors should pitch them for Toy Fair, as well as what makes a toy stand out at the show. The video also includes advice on how to support content creators as well as traditional press on the show floor.

Rebecca Deeming, public relations manager at the BTHA presents this year’s Ask the MEdia video covering key deadlines and opportunities coming up imminently for Toy Fair exhibitors.

The video can be found on the Toy Fair YouTube channel, here.

“The Ask the Media video is all about helping exhibitors make a splash at Toy Fair,” said Deeming.

“Thanks so much to Zoe, Kate and Helen for letting us take a sneak peek into the world of the media. The fantastic insights they share in this video will help any exhibitor, no matter their size, to make the most of their presence at Toy Fair.”

Toy Fair takes place at Olympia, London from January 22 to 24th 2019. Register for a free pass by visiting www.toyfair.co.uk.
