Bob the Builder heads to silver screen with movie release

Bob the Builder: Mega Machines will hit cinemas on May 26th, featuring the voices of Lee Ingleby and Brian Cox.

Mattel Creations is gearing up for the release of the special feature-length film, Bob the Builder: Mega Machines – The Movie.

Set to hit the silver screen on May 26th, the 60-minute film will see Bob and his team call on the Mega Machines to help them tackle their biggest build to date.

In line with the TV series, the movie will follow the STEM curriculum, with lessons in science, engineering, maths and technology.

Lee Ingleby will voice Bob, while Joanne Froggatt will voice Wendy and Blake Harrison will take on the role of Scoop. Brian Cox will also be joining the voice cast for the film.

The franchise is also gaining further traction with a Fisher-Price toy line set to launch, spanning figures and die-cast models.
