The indie board game outfit Big Potato has scooped the Brand Award at the UK’s largest online video festival, Summer in the City.

SitC, now in its tenth year of running, was held at the ExCel in London at the beginning of August, and featured over 100 popular YouTube creators. Big Potato was there with its Potato Van where it was selling and playing games with visitors.

Sponsored by the creator and brand platform Social Circle, the SitC Awards recognises brands that have excelled in the online world, whether working with influencers or engaging with fans online.

Big Potato won the Brand Award based on its forward-thinking and support of the influencer marketing community. Social media manager, Nat Aves was on hand to accept the award.

“We are all chuffed to bits,” said Aves. “This is only our second year of being at SitC, so it’s fantastic to be recognised for what we do by such an amazing event.”

The Big Potato has also launched its new party game Clickbait, as well as the second edition of its best-seller Obama Llama.

“We have had a busy week since coming back,” continued Aves. “There’s lots of exciting things going on at Big Potato HQ, so we have not had time to shout out about our win until now. It’s taken pride of place on our trophy shelf and we can’t wait to go back to SitC i 2019.”
