Battroborg wins Toy of the Year 2013 in International Awards

Tomy's battling bots receives Toy of the Year in Belgium and picks up Best Action Boys Toy of the Year in France ahead of UK release.

Battroborg, the world's first motion controlled battling robots from Tomy, has already made its impact on the European market, scooping two top International Awards.

The brawling bots took Toy of the Year 2013 in the Boys' sector in Belgium, while in France, the toy took Best Action Boys Toy of the Year.

Tomy is now focusing on the forthcoming UK summer launch.

James Cokell, Tomy's brand manager, said: "The highly acclaimed international award wins mean that Battroborg really is the most exciting boys' toy to reach the UK market this summer.

"Tomy has tapped into family fun and applied leading technology to ensure Battroborg is the must-have toy on everyone's Christmas list whether young or old.

"With our full marketing campaign we are ready to hit the opposition harder than ever."
