Bandai is bolstering its modeling offering with a new line of buildable action figures, featuring DC Comics characters Batman, The Joker and Superman.

The new line, called SpruKits, features models that can be constructed by snapping the pre-painted molded pieces together.

Once complete, the SpruKits feature similar detail and articulation to standard action figures.

Arriving in three different levels of complexity, the line will make its debut with DC characters, Batman, The Joker and Superman, reports Action Figure Fury.

Level One figures include Batman (New 52), Batman (The Dark Knight Rises) The Joker (Classic Comics) and Superman (New 52), while Level Two includes depiction of the caped crusader from Arkham and The Dark Knight Rises, Superman from Man of Steel and a host of other characters such as Master Chief and Gabriel Throne from Halo.

Finally, the only Level Three kit currently available is a Batman Arkham Final Chapter action figure, with the estimated building time of two to three hours.

Bandai’s SpruKits will hit stores across the US from July this year.
