Wow Stuff’s Attacknids have been touring UK toy shops since October and have now made their final stop at Hamleys’ Regent Street store.

The R/C robots and their 2x2 metre battle enclosure will remain in the toy shop up until Christmas.

The battle arena has the full set up with audio effects, commentator microphone, and a live scoreboard on a large TV suspended above the arena.

“Hamleys is a fantastic venue for a global battling destination,” said Chris Hood, head of PR at Wow Stuff.

“We would love it to host one of our national finals one day. We have a long term aim to deliver a global brand recognized as the Ultimate in Battling Robotics and Hamleys’ commitment is a great endorsement of the strategy.”

Hood added: "We are rolling out many variants of Attacknid in 2013 and at some really exciting price points.”

Also to come in 2013 will be a new arsenal of ‘Bolt N Battle’ weaponry, as well as different coloured armour for the spider-like bots.
