A Girl for All Time Indiegogo campaign on course to smash goal

Independent British doll company, A Girl for All Time, has launched on crowdfunding platform Indiegogo, and is already on its way to smashing its goal.

Having launched yesterday, the campaign has already hit 66 per cent of its funding goal, reaching $13,240 of $20,000.

The campaign is crowdfunding two of the firm’s newest dolls, Bex and Elinor, with plans to extend the current collection even further.

"This is our second crowdfunding campaign – we successfully funded our last one in May 2016 and used it to launch Your Modern Girl, which is our collection of contemporary dolls. This year’s campaign will be used to extend both our historical and our contemporary ranges with new dolls and, hopefully even costumes if we can manage to achieve our stretch goals," said said Frances Cain, founder of A Girl for All Time.

"Crowdfunding is incredibly useful for us, not only to secure pre-sales and funds to manufacture goods, but it’s invaluable to test the market and get hard data on what will be popular moving forward with our lines. If your campaign funds, then you know you have a hit on your hands."

Prior to the campaign, A Girl For All Time successfully produced seven collections of dolls, costumes and accessories.
