A collection of 80 Star Wars figures have been stolen from a house in Knowle village in Hampshire.

The collection included the figures' original display cases and cards, BBC reports.

The burglars made off with the collector's DVD and Blu-Ray collection, as well as other household items.

Around 100 different characters were produced as part of Kenners original Star Wars action figure collection, of which an estimated 300 million units were sold.

Since then the toys have become highly sought-after, perhaps making them the most collectable playthings of all time.
