Micro Scooters will be showcasing its new accessory line, Zooters, at September's Top Drawer event.

The firm enlisted the help of former Spitting Image puppet designer, Scott Brooker, to help develop Zooters, which can be used as glove puppets when removed from the scooter.

The 2-in-1 accessories also have side pockets for toys, drinks or snacks, plus reflective panels for added visibility and safety.

The first four designs will be available from mid-September, with new products to follow.

"We had watched our kids desperately try to 'pimp up' their scooters using anything they could lay their hands on - stickers from magazines, even elastic bands that the postman had discarded," explained Oscar Beuselinck, who created Zooters with Tom James.

"We realised that there was an opportunity to create a fun accessory for the scooter market that would really personalise their pride and joy with a bit of style and panache, so Zooters were born."

Zooters form part of the official Micro Scooters accessories range, and are priced at £19.99.
