Esdevium Games is reporting “outstanding reaction” to its new line of pocket money Zomlings collectibles, just one week since its launch.

The toy firm notes that one retailer took to Twitter to report that Zomlings “were flying off the shelves” last weekend.

The collection of miniature monsters from Magic Box Int offers kids more than 100 characters to collect.

There are three products in the range, with prices set at 50p, £1 and £2 as well as rare silver and gold editions launched to drive collectability.

The line launched with the support of TV campaign on March 5th and is slated to deliver more than 840 boys four to nine TVRs during March and April.

Ben Harper, Magic Box Int’s UK director, said: “The reaction to Zomlings has been fantastic and better than anything we have seen for a number of years.

“Consumers and retailers seem to have embraced the concept and the pocket money prices.”

Esdevium Games sales director, Steve Buckmaster, added: “Retailers who took launch offers from us have already been back to re-order and we are taking new enquiries every day. Zomlings has got off to a very impressive start.”

A free standing display until which can display all three of the Zomlings products is available for independent retailers to order via Esdevium Games.
