> You’ve left Vivid what brought that on? Fed up trying to shift that Robin Hood stock?

I spent just short of three wonderful years at Vivid and in that time a number of personal life changing experiences happened. I lost both my grandfathers who were both great men in their own right and I had my son Zachary. I started to think about what I wanted to achieve and what I wanted to look back on. I am very proud of the work I have done at Vivid, but the ultimate challenge is to do it on your own so that’s why I am doing it. And, for the record, Robin Hood stock was never an issue and the team that worked on it did a great job.

> Blimey. I won’t mention Robin Hood again, then. So what’s your new challenge?

First challenge is to spend a week on holiday with no work... failed as I am sat by the pool now using my Blackberry. Second... is going self employed, and searching out work that is fulfilling and fun. Hence the name Added Smile.

> Oh, sorry, I didn’t realise you were on holiday. You’re entering the world of consultancy I believe?

I intend to do this by working with people so we all end up with a smile on our face.

> It’s a tough arena though right? What sort of things are you offering clients?

A fresh pair of eyes with a different perspective. You see a tough arena I see it as a big opportunity.

> So you’re out of the corporate life forever now, it’s all shorts and sandals for work now is it?

I'll never say never again to corporate life... it depends on the opportunity. However, I am currently sporting flip flops that have a bottle opener built into the sole. Very handy.

> I gotta get me a pair of them. Are you going to be working with any brands we may already be familiar with?

Several exciting things in the pipeline and you can rest assured I’ll tell you all about them when I can.
