A collection of figurines based on the popular Worms video game have arrived in stores today.

The range – produced by First 4 Figures – includes vinyl figures and resin statues of the Worms characters. The line will be promoted through game developer Team17’s Facebook page, and through the asynchronous play feature in Worms Armageddon 2 iOS.

The First 4 Figures deal is one part of a licensing programme kicked off by AT New Media. There will be GameOn plush toys and keyrings, apparel from Fashion UK, accessories from Bioworld and merchandise from GB Posters.

Plus, there will also be bags, mugs and other Worms-branded accessories available.

“Worms has a huge and very loyal fanbase that will snap up anything related to the brand, so we expect this new range to perform extremely well across the world,” said AT New Media’s Simon Kay.

Over 30 million Worms games have been sold worldwide to date.
