Wild Card Games is all set for another record year as the firm reports a growth of 84 per cent on 2014.

The family games specialist and name behind popular title Who Knows Where? has told ToyNews that strong consumer reaction and retail support has helped drive growth in the first half of 2015.

With a portfolio of games designed to ‘promote sub-conscious learning through play and appeal to children,’ and with popular titles such as Maponimoes and Backpacker, the firm has already sold over 212,000 units across the UK.

“Retailers are really helping us to drive the sales increase as our games are proven sellers and so many of them are stocking a larger and larger range of our games,” said Sean Byrne of Wild Card Games.

“We are a rapidly growing family games specialist and have added several new products to our range of award-winning games. Top sellers: Who Knows Where? Maponimoes and Backpacker as well as award winners Arithmanix and Astronauts are joined by Frenzi, history board game About time, Ah-Harr and a range of eight family travel sized games for all ages.”

Who Knows Where? is the global location guessing game in which players must travel the world by locating famous places on the world map. Meanwhile, Frenzi is a fast, flipping card game that has been met with critical acclaim.

Finally, About Time is a guessing game in which players have 30 seconds to beat their opponents by guessing the closest to the year of an event. Players can adopt the role of a famous historical figure such as Napoleon, Joan of Arc or Cleopatra to compete against their friends.

The firm is now taking to the Harrogate Toymaster Show, where retailers will receive 15 per cent off all orders placed for the party game Frenzi and ten per cent off for orders of the award-winning family board game Who Knows Where?

Wild Card Games will be showcasing its range in the Carriage Suite at next week’s show.
