Saturday 17th September will see the independent retailer host a party with entertainment and competitions.

Mr Dan The Circus Man will be entertaining everyone with juggling, unicycle riding and stilt-walking. There will also be face painting and balloon modelling.

“Its been a great first year," said Zhara Armstrong of Treasures. "I’ve lost count of the number of customers who tell me that Treasures is a real toy shop."

Children will have lots of opportunities to win prizes and anyone turning up in fancy dress will instantly win a prize.

There will also be two competitions running and prizes include a Lego set worth over £70 and a Schleich Horse Stable complete with horses, also worth £70. Winners will be announced at 4pm by Mr Dan the Circus Man .

Treasures' shop window currently features an array of wrapped presents containing toys from the range. As part of their birthday celebrations these will be donated to Martin House Children’s Hospice.

The party starts at 12pm.
