Wasgij brand to sponsor Challenge Daytime

Deal marks the first strand sponsorship package on the game show entertainment channel.

Brainteaser puzzle brand Wasgij is to sponsor daytimes on the Challenge game show TV channel.

This marks the first strand sponsorship package on Challenge, which reaches over 10.4 million individuals each month. Sponsored content will include series like Are You Smarter Than a 10 Year Old, Supermarket Sweep, Play Your Cards Right, Blockbusters, Bullseye and Takeshi Castle among others.

Wasgij's sponsorship aims to achieve standout for the brand's 2013 range, as well as raising consumer awareness, communicating the concept of Wasgji and helping it maintain its strong position in the adult puzzle market.

"We are delighted to be sponsoring Challenge TV whose audience share our passion for testing the mind and solving a puzzle," said Katherine Pierce, marketing manager at Jumbo Games. "Viewers are sure to be in tune with Wasgih and relish the puzzling challenge that this unique jigsaw puzzle presents.

"There's certainly more to Wasgij than meets the eye, the puzzler has the additional challenge of needing to solve a few clues in order to create a different interpretation of the image that appears on the box."
