Users will be able to interact with their favourite characters including Bugs Bunny, Tweety Bird and the Flinestones, create personal profiles and watch original online episodes.
The site will be called T-Works and will be supported by advertising sales according to Warner Bros, a division of Time Warner. It will also allow users to personalise characters and take them off the site to decorate other web pages and profiles.
Warner Bros plans to market its toys, books and movies from the site including its DC Comics range.
Lisa Judson, president of Warner Bros. Animation said: “T-Works will offer original entertainment content, social interaction and an intimacy with our beloved and iconic characters like never before in an environment that’s safe and appropriate for all ages”.
