The fist phase of UKfamily.co.uk is scheduled to go live on July 17th, offering parent information and social networking opportunities.

Developed by Disney and parents, the ad-funded website will give parents another avenue to receive expert advice, share tips and experiences and connect with others online.

New features will be rolled out in the second phase, slated for autumn 2008.

Cindy Rose, SVP and MD, WDIG, Europe, Middle East & Africa, said: "UKfamily will give parents the ability to build their online experience by offering a wealth of localised and personalised information. UKfamily was lovingly designed by a team of Disney parents and experts and brings together in one place for the first time the latest in online tools and information in a way that we believe represents true innovation in the market."

Dani Zur, general manager, UKfamily, added: "UKfamily is a cutting edge resource for parents that aims to help them organise, simplify and love their family life online and have access to the very best information so they can make the right choices and offer the ultimate in family networking with a range of interactive tools and online services."
