Vivid has revealed the first product from its deal with new US start-up Zizzle, in the form of a poseable animatronic DJ.

IZ is a nine-inch tall, electronic DJ that plays infectious beats when you poke its belly. Twisting its ears creates other musical leads and rhythms and it can also giggle, burp and break wind and interact with other formats such as iPod.

Nick Austin, CEO of Vivid said: "The reaction from our British and Irish retail customers tells us we have got a winner this Christmas. He is unique ? a breakthrough product - and with iPod interactivity is sure to be a massive unisex hit across a very wide age range."

Just 60,000 units of IZ will be available pre-Christmas with TV and PR campaigns breaking in mid-October. It will retail around £30.
